FAILURE IS A GOOD THING
1. Write down a quote that you agree with or disagree with, and explain why you agree or disagree.
♥I agree when Jon Carroll says "My granddaugter is a perfectionist, probably too much of one. She will feel her failures, and I will want to comfort her. But I will also, I hope, remind her of what she learned, and how she can do whateverit is better next time. I probably won't tell her that failure is a good thing, because that's not hte lesson you can learn when you're 5. I hope I can tell her, though, that it's not the end of the world. Indeed, with luck, it is beginning......." I agree to this quote because it's true what he said in this paragraph. You learn from your mistakes and you do better after. Why?......because you have gone through it and now you know how to not repeat the same problem.♥
2. Describe one of the biggest failures you've made in your life. How did the failure affect you?
♥One of my biggest failures was when I failed as a daughter, as a cousin, as a neice, as a grandduaghter. I didnt give my family or my parents good grades because i was really bad. I wouldn't turn in my homework. I wouldn't listen to the teachers. I was basicly a trouble maker. Worst then a trouble maker. This affect me by the way my parents treated me. By how tough my teachers were with me. By how my family treated me, because i was suppose to be the role model for my cousins. My aunts and uncles wouldnt even let my cousins be with me because they thought I was gonna tell them something so that they would end up bad.♥
a)What did you learn from the failure?
♥I have learned that by being bad, you loose peoples respect. And if you would do something which they wouldn't let you do, then your gonna loose their respect.♥
3. Why do you think I’m having you listen to this story?
♥So that we can see how we can learn from our mistakes. Everyone makes mistakes. Nobody is perfect in this world.♥
